What Makes the Syros Special

Despite the initial doubts, the author now sees some good things about the car:

• The Look: While they initially thought the design was quirky, they are starting to appreciate its unique, squared-off shape and lights.
• The Features: The car is the top-of-the-line model and has a lot of high-end features, like a powerful diesel engine, a smooth automatic transmission, and a fantastic sound system from Harman Kardon.
• The Space: The back seats are very big and comfortable, with features like sun shades and ventilated seats that make long trips enjoyable.

The First Trip

The author’s first long trip was from Pune to Mumbai with four people.

• Back Seat Experience: The author rode in the back seat and found it very spacious and comfortable, even falling asleep for a bit. The sound system was excellent for listening to music and even a sports match.
• The Bumpy Ride: One issue was that on uneven roads, the back seats bounced a lot, which made it hard to use a phone and felt a bit uncomfortable. This is something the author hopes to explore further.
• Engine Performance: The car’s engine and automatic gearbox performed “simply lovely.” Even with a full car, it easily reached and maintained high speeds without any effort.

What’s Next?

The author will continue to drive the Kia Syros every day in the city and on highways. They want to find out if the car’s clever features are truly useful for daily life and if they can improve the rear seat’s bumpy ride by adjusting the tire pressure slightly.
