What’s the Real Mileage?
Here are the results of our test:
In the city: The Maruti Fronx got 12.8 km per liter. This is less than what the company claims, but it’s a realistic number for city traffic.
On the highway: The car got a much better 20.74 km per liter. This is actually slightly better than what the company claims.
What This Means for You
City Driving: If you mostly drive in the city, you can expect to spend about ₹7.58 per kilometer on fuel.
Highway Driving: If you mostly drive on highways, your fuel cost will be much lower, at about ₹4.68 per kilometer.
