The Tata Punch 2025 is an upcoming compact SUV that aims to offer fresh updates while keeping its budget-friendly appeal. Tata Motors plans to launch the new Punch in January 2026, with prices expected to start from ₹6 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2025 Tata Punch will continue as a 5-seater micro SUV. It is likely to come with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers 88 PS power and 115 Nm torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. A CNG version is also expected, focusing on better mileage.
One of the biggest upgrades will be inside the cabin. The new Punch may get a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver display, ventilated front seats, and an air purifier, making it more premium than before.
On the safety front, Tata is expected to strengthen the Punch with features like 6 airbags, ESC, TPMS, and even a 360-degree camera, keeping safety as a key focus.
In terms of competition, the Tata Punch 2025 will rival cars like the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Ignis, Maruti Fronx, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Citroen C3.
Overall, the Tata Punch 2025 looks set to be a strong option for buyers looking for a safe, feature-rich, and affordable SUV for city and daily use.
