The new year is starting with many exciting car launches in India. January 2026 will see new SUVs, facelifts, and even an electric car. Several popular models will get price announcements and official reveals. Here’s a simple look at what’s coming this month.
New Kia Seltos
Kia will announce the prices of the new Seltos on 2 January. Bookings are already open for ₹25,000.
The updated Seltos gets a fresh exterior design, new body panels, and a more modern interior with extra features. It now uses Kia’s new K3 global platform. Production has already started, and deliveries should begin soon after launch.
Mahindra XUV 7XO
Mahindra has renamed the XUV700 as XUV 7XO. Prices will be announced on 5 January, and bookings are open for ₹21,000.
The SUV gets updated headlights and taillights, new bumpers, fresh alloy wheels, and a redesigned cabin with three screens. It will also feature a new steering wheel and a premium Harman Kardon sound system. Engine options are expected to remain the same.
New Renault Duster
The Renault Duster is making a comeback in India with a brand-new generation. It will be revealed on 26 January.
The new Duster has a bold new design, updated interiors, and new engine options. While it keeps the classic Duster shape, it feels more modern and feature-rich than before.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift
Skoda will introduce the Kushaq facelift in January 2026.
The updated SUV is expected to get a panoramic sunroof, connected LED taillights, new bumpers, fresh alloy wheels, and updated interiors. The engine options are likely to stay the same, with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre petrol engines.
Maruti e Vitara
Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car, the e Vitara, is expected to launch soon, though the exact date is not confirmed. It will be sold through Nexa outlets.
The electric SUV will offer two battery options with a range of up to 543 km. It comes packed with features like ADAS, ventilated seats, dual screens, wireless charging, seven airbags, and a five-star safety rating.
Nissan Gravite
Nissan will begin its new India strategy with the Gravite, a compact three-row MPV.
The Gravite will share parts with the Renault Duster and is expected to launch later this month. It will be powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine with manual and AMT gearbox options.
